Specific Aims:

1. To measure FM and PSD in a cohort of elderly women to determine the rates of its occurrence.

2. To compare the descriptive characteristics (demographic and medical) of FM and PSD in elderly women to agestratified

controls.

3. To determine if relevant exposure data collected in the Women’s Health Initiative are correlated with increases or

decreases in the risk of meeting FM and PSD criteria.
