Specific Aims

  1. To build a data base from four large dietary assessment validation studies that includes information on dietary intake data gathered from FFZ, 24-hour recalls, urinary nitrogen and urinary potassium levels measured in 24-hr urine specimens, and total energy expenditure levels measured by the doubly labeled water (DLW) technique.
  2. To use statistical meta-analysis techniques to combine results from these studies to answer a range of questions pertaining to dietary intake assessment of these nutrients.
